Y Fron, Cwmystwyth, in the 1930s or early 1940s.
Description
Y Fron in the 1930s or early 1940s. Y Fron was formerly known as 'Tynclyttiau' and is where the Rev. Thomas Edwards lived both before and during his time as Minister of Siloam Chapel in Cwmystwyth. The Austin 10 car in front of Y Fron probably belonged to the owner at the time, the son of W.G. Tarrant, one of the last owners of Hafod. Indeed it's possible that W.G. Tarrant himself also lived in Y Fron for a time.
