This photograph was provided by Mr Ernie Hughes, who served as a Firefighter in the RAF at RAF Eastleigh in the mid 1950s. RAF Eastleigh Fire section attended aircraft crashes throughout Kenya and were also involved in recovering damaged aircraft. Ernie can be seen standing by the aircraft fuselage.
