Met with leaders Annie Lewis and students of Dancing Shoes, Wrexham to introduce the Scarce Yellow Sally project. I was looking for a young dancer to play the part of Sally, but this didn’t work out due to members pressures of family and work commitments. However, after presenting the film to the group I interviewed Ann. Ann started up the organisation Dancing Shoes for young people and adults from deprived economic backgrounds. The vulnerability of the Scarce Yellow Sally resonated with Ann as a metaphor for the fragility and challenges experienced by the young people today
