This photograph was provided by Ernie Hughes, who served as a 'Firefighter' at RAF Eastleigh in Kenya in the mid 1950's. Ernie has kept several photographs from his time in Kenya, which offer excellent insight into the life of a RAF serviceman, serving overseas in the 1950s. He is pictured far left under the Githunguri Police station sign.
