The little building is the office where the trams were checked and recorded before proceeding to the village, past Rhognant house. It was complete with fire place, built in shelves and windows. The photograph was taken by the late Gwen Hough in 1988. Gwen lived in Gwyngyll, Upper Corris and was an archivist at Dolgellau.
