Two advertisements from page 10 of E. Pearse's Swansea Directory 1856. John Jewry at 5 High St sold fashionable boats and shoes and H.T. Arnold of 7 Temple St was a general ironmonger as well as plumber and brazier, gas-fitter and coppersmith.
