These advertisements are from page 26 of Pearse's Swansea Directory 1856. Arthur Butt at his Old Established Boot Shop at 10 Goat St offers good fitting boots while Samuel Gibbs has opened a new ironmonger's shop at 47 Castle Square. As well as all his other advertised products, Ebenezer Pearse sells office stationery, including copying presses, brushes, inks and letter copying books.
