Letter sent home from the First World War by Owen Ashton of Llawryglyn, 11 May 1918 [page 1 of 4]
Description
In this letter, Owen tells his parents that he is glad that his father can go to his work again, though the day is long for him. He mentions work on roads [in France?]. He wishes he could go home to help his father with the hay, as the fields are so far, and Owen's father hasn't got the pony to take him.
