An undated letter sent home at the end of the First World War by Owen Ashton of Llawryglyn [page 1 of 4]

Description

Owen writes in haste to his parents to tell them that he has arrived back safely. They arrived at half past seven and he had enough company. Ifan came to Moat Lane with him and Johnnie and his family were all at the station and Owen was given a parcel including apples and nice cakes, a few eggs and cigarettes. He suspects that his draft may be here for a while yet.
