Letter sent home from the First World War by Owen Ashton of Llawryglyn, 11 March 1918 [page 1 of 1]
Description
Owen writes on Church Army Recreation Hut notepaper. His side is better, as is the weather. He has been through a lot of mud, water and barbed wire and after coming back, his feet were wet and 'slouch'.
'I can tell you we are in awful state sometimes'.
