Admiral Huftmeirer, a prisoner at Island Farm Special Camp following Second World War

Description

Admiral Huftmeirer was given command of the Channel Islands following their occupation by the Germans in World War Two. A fluent English speaker (he had been German consulate in New York prior to the war) Huftmeirer gave English lessons to the other German prisoners at Island Farm.
