Description
Samuel Heironymus Grimm was a Swiss artist who had settled in London. Grimm's patrons included the naturalist Gilbert White and Sir Richard Kaye, vicar of Kirkby for whom he became a travelling companion with the express wish from his patron that he record "anything curious".
