Description
Stanley John Morris from Swansea was a Corporal with the Royal Welsh Infantry. Born 19 October 1894, he had been a drummer boy with the Territorial Army and continued to be a member after the War when held the rank of Quarter Master Sergeant. He served in France and later in Egypt where he was part of the occupying forces. After peace had been declared, a Welsh Male Voice Choir was formed to entertain local dignitaries in Alexandria.
