Drawings of the Somme by Howard Lloyd Roberts, July 1916 [image 1 of 4]

Description

Howard Lloyd Roberts was a well-known local artist in Borth who fought in the trenches during the First World War. He made these drawings during his time in the Somme. It is believed that by putting them side by side, it provides a panorama of the view of No Man's Land from the trench.
