Description

The letter states that Hugh is in Wrexham waiting to be sent to the front line in France. Private Hugh Owen 14237 Royal Welsh Fusiliers was a brother to John Owen, the poet from Bodffordd, Anglesey. He fought with the Royal Welsh Fusiliers in France and was killed on 20 July 1916 Delville Wood by a shot to the face.
