Description

The newspaper referrers to Thomas Green's bravery in rescuing three wounded men from danger while fighting in France. Second Lieutenant Thomas Green of the Royal Garrison Artillery died on 28 October 1916 aged 29. He was the son of Thomas Green, Blackpill Swansea. He was buried at Becourt Military Cemetery, Becordel - Becourt. His wife Kate lived at 74, St. Peter's Road, Great Yarmouth.
