SMG writes "The three one acters, "The Dear Departed", produced by Mebe James," Catherine Parr", by Gordon Daviot, and ''Son of Susanna'', a play on the Wesley Family, by John Gibbs, were presented as Plays from Family Life, in a special programme of all Church activities, directed at families. The war was completely over, and families were coming together again in the New Year of l946."
