Souvenir of the Great War', photograph sent to William Kempton while serving in France during the First World War
Description
William Giles Kempton was born in Wiltshire in 1873 and fought as a boy soldier in India and later during the Boer War when he volunteered at the age of 26 with his employers' son. This card was sent to him by his daughter Daisy Maud Lilian.
