An envelope addressed to Mr Ernie Cotes of 28, Afon Llwydd Terrace, Pontnewydd, Pontypool dated 1stApril 1917. The evelope contained a letter written by Gunner M. Charles Jenkins, 1587, of the 121stBattery Royal Field Artillery. Charles wrote numerous letters to his family in Pontypool while stationed in France.
