Frank Hopkins (born in Hafod, Swansea on 5 September 1896) worked in Swansea Docks before the war. Here are photographs of him with his comrades in the Welsh Regiment (Frank is pointed out by the blue arrow). Frank later served with the Royal Naval Division, and in 1917 he was reported as killed in action before turning up in a German prisoner-of-war camp.
