Letters from RND Comforts Fund re Frank Hopkins
Description
Frank Hopkins (born in Hafod, Swansea on 5 September 1896) worked in Swansea Docks before the war. He served with the Anson Battalion of the Royal Naval Division, and was reported dead in October 1917. However, his family learned in January 1918 that he was in fact in a German prisoner-of-war camp. These two letters show the correspondence between the Royal Naval Division Comforts Fund (for Prisoners of War in Germany) and Frank's family.
