Frank Hopkins (born in Hafod, Swansea on 5 September 1896) worked in Swansea Docks before the war. He served with the Anson Battalion of the Royal Naval Division, and was captured in October 1917 and spent time in a German prisoner-of-war camp. After returning to Swansea he received this invitation to a reunion of PoWs, hosted by the mayor of Swansea.
