A senior officers blue enamel ring cap badge issued to officers of the rank of Inspector and above. 

Formed in 1950 with the amalgamation of three county constabularies of Merionethshire, Anglesey and Caernarfonshire  ....  which are depicted by the three sections of the badge central shield motif.
