Sepia photograph showing a large group of young men and women posed in four rows.
The first row [all girls], are seated on the floor, the second row [mixed] are seated on chairs, the third row [all boys] and fourth row [all girls] are standing. The photograph is titled “Athletics group” and dated circa 1900 and their sports clothes reflect this. A female [teacher?] stands on the left. The photograph is taken in front of a brick building, most likely on the site now at Rodney Parade, Newport.
