Description
Letter from Edward Thomas to his wife, Helen Thomas. Archival reference: 424/1/1/1/1/160
My dearest friend,
I can not write, for my time is all gone. Take the book: it is not handsome, but you will, I think, like it.
Your letter is yet to come today and I long for it and you.
Goodbye, with a kiss which you will give me. I am ever yours.
Edward. Goodbye!
I expect you can cut a book better than I: but if not, be always careful to cut the pages right to the cover, lest they tear raggedly in very wide opening.
