My Dear Gordon, Thanks. Your eye is excellent and I am beginning to feel sure that everything in the book will be as nice and accurate and decent as it could be. Really I am most grateful. I feel I ought to write a letter, but I am
1. sick of London
2. unwell (I had to disobey my doctor during a weekend in Suffolk)
3. and have a book to review here in spite of
4. the secretary's coldness at my neglect of work.
Therefore I can't. So forgive me.
Yours ever Edward Thomas. Thanks for Max.
