My dear Emily,
Thank you. At my rate it is fixed that I
come to you on Wednesday next week, Probably
Helen can't but if she can she will. if it is fine
I shall ride, but in case it is not I shall
be glad of the lift up as Mrs. Trevelyan will have the
cart down at Gomshall. On Thursday however
I ought to leave soon after breakfast, as I must
arrange to see somebody or another that day in London
if the car does come - You will let me know
the chances - I shall be glad. I hope Gordon will
fall in love with the Liphook country on his way
& become inseparable. It would please us very much.
Till next Wednesday I have to write about poetry &
colonial poetry & also Harold Monro is is coming
down for the weekend, who although he sells books is
really no better than a poet himself. I really envy
you Sturge Moore. - - I hope Gordon isn't
become too classic to life Lawrence. It is, in
any case,,& my love to him & to you & Helen's also
Yours ever
Edward Thomas
