25 ix 12

My dear Gordon,

I begged these from
Muirhead Bone because I thought
you would like the pictures.
There is nothing to write about. I am
up & down between here & London
looking for work & doing the little I
can get. But nothing is solved
yet. Tell me soon how you are &
when to look for you in Surrey, &
give our love to Emily.
Yours ever
Edward Thomas
