My dear Gordon,
We were very glad to
have your good new & we
believe that your father goes on getting
better. There is nothing else to
say until I know that you are
comfortable again. But by the way,
have you heard of 'The Acorn' a
quarterly for the benefit of Yeats.....
and Chesterton? As for me, I
have just been rejected by 'Country
life' and expect to be rejected
(as far as articles go) by 'The
Academy? One way & another, I
do get on: by the time I am forty I
shall be quite unprintable.
