This is a set of photographs which belong to Mr Vyron Thomas of Carmarthenshire. They relate to the period of National Service that Vyron undertook with The Welch Regiment from 1957 to 1959. Vyron was a keen rugby player and enjoyed playing inter departmental rugby in the Army. The photographs were taken at various locations including Cyprus and Libya. There is a contemporary image of a proud Veteran wearing the medal he earned in service.
