From the collection is this large 'cabinet' size photograph, showing a Victorian era Constable of the former Monmouthshire Constabulary. The name of the Constable is not known.
Details on the reverse give detailss of the photographic studio, located at Frogmore Street, Abergavenny.
The origins of the word "Frogmore" can be traced back to the Old English words "frogga" and "mere," which mean "pool frequented by frogs.
