Trimsaran Heritage Field Atlas — QR-Linked Ledger for Live Map Navigation

Description

A new approach to digital heritage documentation: an interactive map extended into a printed field study tool. Every one of the 92 sites recorded for Trimsaran and its surrounding farmland is paired with its own QR code which, scanned on site or at home, opens that exact location in Google Maps. Collieries, Y Plas, public houses and the farms that ring the village, many with little now visible on the ground, can be found and visualised in real time from a printed page.

The ledger draws together Google My Maps data, archival research and on-site verification into a single resource: part heritage atlas, part gazetteer, part fieldwork navigation system, designed to be updated as research continues.
