Wash copper inside the wash house at Llaneithyr Farm, 2026
Description
Photograph of a wash copper inside the wash house at Llaneithyr Farm, near Devil's Bridge, in the parish of Ysbytty Cynfyn, Ceredigion. The wash copper is a surviving example of domestic farm equipment associated with Llaneithyr's working history. The farm was built in the 1820s and, from the mid-1840s, was run as a working sheep farm by tenant farmers. It was considered one of the finest holdings in the area at that time. This image was taken in 2026 as part of a photographic record of the farm's remaining historic fabric and artefacts.
