For six decades, Discovery SVS has provided support to the local communities in Swansea through student volunteering. Some of the documents and photographs in our archive include terminology and attitudes that, although were widley deemed appropriate at the time of creation, are not acceptable today and may be considered offensive. We have made the decision to include these items in our archive as they form a part of Discovery's history and demonstrate how both the charity and society have continued to grow and evolve over the last sixty years. These terms and attitudes are not a reflection of Discovery's values and attitudes today.
