This is a photograph of Mr Mervyn Rees of Saundersfoot taken in April 2026. Mervyn is holding the British Nuclear test medal, which was awarded to those who served on Christmas Island, during the British atomic weapon testing programme. Mervyn served on the island with the Royal Air Force.
