Description

This is page 1 and 4 of the Treherbert Communist Party newsletter from Aug-Sept 1984. It comments on the tremendous suffering of families during the miners' dispute and the huge support of local women and the miners' wives for the actions of the miners. This display of solidarity throughout the Rhondda valley was underestimated by PM Margaret Thatcher according to the newsletter. The final page is a personal message from a faceworker at Tower Colliery asking for support by all trade unions for the miners' union.
