Description

This is a carbon copy of a typed letter in reply to Bethel English Baptist Church, Barry from the Barry Urban District Council in 1922. The Church Secretary had written the same day informing the council of a unanimous resolution protesting against their decision to allow buses and charabancs to run on Sundays and this letter acknowledges receiving the letter and promises to place it before the council at a meeting that same evening.
It is interesting to note the speed at which communications were sent and received and acted upon in the 1920s!
