These are pages 26-27 from the booklet Barry for Varied Enjoyment: The Gem of Welsh Seaside Resorts published by Barry Urban District Council Town Development Committee. The booklet is undated but probably from 1930s.
The booklet is persuasive about why people should come to Barry for their holidays - the rejuvenating quality of Barry's air, the facilities for health and enjoyment, a variety of physical activities to promote being 'fit as a fiddle'.
People are urged to book early holidays as they are cheaper and avoid overcrowding.
