Soldiers in Ausia, July 1918
Description
Edwin Cross sent a large number of photographs to his sister Muriel during the First World War, showing scenes he witnessed while serving in India with the Machine Gun Corps. The inscription on the back of this photograph reads "Some of 'C' Platoon, OCU, Ausia, July 1918", and an arrow points to the man standing 7th from left, which presumably is Edwin Cross.
