Description
Edwin Cross sent a large number of photographs to his sister Muriel during the First World War, showing scenes he witnessed while serving in India with the Machine Gun Corps. The inscription on this photograph reads "Dried up bathing tank, Srinagar, Nasirabad August 1919".
