Description
Edwin Cross sent a large number of photographs to his sister Muriel during the First World War, showing scenes he witnessed while serving in India with the Machine Gun Corps. This image is of the Abbottabad Isolation camp, 1917: the inscription on the back reads "The isolation camp inside the Barracks".
