Indian murals
Description
Edwin Cross sent a large number of photographs to his sister Muriel during the First World War, showing scenes he witnessed while serving in India with the Machine Gun Corps. Here are pictures of some murals: the inscription on the back of the first reads "Drawings on the exterior walls of a temple, Srinagar, Nasirabad August 1919", while the second one has "Crude paintings on house wall, Nasirabad Sept 1919".
