Jack Edwards with the Herefordshire Regiment
Description
John George Edwards (known as Jack) from Llandrindod Wells joined the Herefordshire Regiment as a private (although he was actually under-age, having been born in 1898). He is seated cross-legged on the left in front of the senior NCO with a swagger stick. Jack later served with the Lancs. Fusiliers at Gallipoli and on the Western Front.
