In Memoriam Certificate for William Cox
Description
Private William Roderick Cox of Llantrisant was 47 years old when he was killed at the Battle of Ypres on 14 July 1915. He was serving with the York and Lancaster Regiment. He is buried at Poelcapelle British Cemetery, Flanders.
This evocatively illustrated certificate, 'In Memoriam of the Noble Dead', shows a variety of scenes which serve to glorify warfare.
