Description

Visitors arriving at Llanstephan having been rowed across from Ferryside. The visitors would arrive at Ferryside by train and then they would be rowed across by a ferryman. According to the stories the ferryman would be half way accross before he negotiate the fee for ferrying them. If they could not reach an agreement he would take them back to Ferryside.
The Jetty has long gone
