Lance Corporal Arthur Williams, 1st Bn., South Wales Borderers died aged 22 on Saturday, 10th November 1917. He was the son of Edward and Emma Williams, of 9, Penhelig, Aberdovey, Meironeth. Before enlisting to serve in the First World War, he was the village postman in Aberarth, Cardiganshire.

I have today purchased a silver fob which looks like it should be on a watch chain it has Arthur Williams inscribed inside it of LLangefni Anglesey North Wales 1915 it would hold a half sovereign. I was wondering if it was in fact his ?
