Description

The dock at Fort Belan built later between 1824 and 1826. It empties out into the Foryd Bay inlet just off the Menai Straits. In Early Middle Ages, the vikings would anchor in the bay during their raids on Anglesey and North Wales. The mountains in the background are the Carneddau range of Snowdonia.
