Pontmorlais Arts Project
Description
The artwork created formed part of a Gates Art Group exhibition to document the area of Pontmorlais in Merthyr Tydfil.
The theme of the project was, Pontmorlais: The changing face of the town centre
Local artists responded to the theme and area using a variety of different media. They documented many of the changes to Pontmorlais and several of the images related to personal experiences of the area. Many of the artists also documented the stories behind their subject choice.
The project formed part of the Townscape Heritage Initiative (THI) in Merthyr Tydfil.
