His collection of watercolours has only recently come to light . Gosselin was Clerk of the Royal court of Guernsy , an enthusiastic amateur artist His pictures have great charm and accurately record buildings and landscape.
Gosselin visited South Wales quite regularly and when his pictures appeared at auctionin 1999 a quaqrter of the 200 works were of Monmouthshire and South Wale
