This is am image of My Father's ( Gunner William Henry George) Maltese cross Sew on badge. Only Soldiers who fought on the island during the siege of Malta (1940-43) were issued and allowed to display this badge.
My late father was very proud of this cloth badge, in fact it was the only medal he wanted, he refused the rest of his medals at the end of the War.
